This project transformed an underused alcove into a reading nook with solid oak shelving, concealed cable management, and a built-in bench wrapped in textured linen. The palette stayed quiet so the books, ceramics, and natural light could do most of the visual work.
We detailed the lower cabinetry with finger pulls instead of exposed hardware and added warm LED strips behind the vertical dividers to create a softer evening atmosphere without visible fixtures.
